As college students and
sorority sisters at the University of Central Arkansas,
we shopped at an all-Greek store for all of our gift-giving
needs. When faced with the need to buy these same types
of gifts for a family member who joined a Greek organization
at the University of Arkansas, Tamra was at a loss.
There were no local stores that carried merchandise
for this organization. That is when the idea for That's
Greek to Me began. After many months of research
on Greek stores throughout the region, we realized
that the University of Arkansas was possibly the only
SEC school without a store dedicated solely to the
Greek community.
We truly believe that the
Greek community is the backbone of every college campus
and deserves to have a place that is all its own. Tamra
and Tina opened That's Greek to Me on
August 6th, 2007, with that belief in mind.
It is our goal to provide sorority and fraternity members,
as well as their friends and family, with all that this
market has to offer. As the ONLY Greek-Licensed
retail store in Fayetteville, we are able to offer
a multitude of services, including custom
screen printing and embroidery as
well as items specific to University of Arkansas chapters.
In October of 2008, Tamra became the mother of a beautiful little girl
and left the business to focus on her growing family. Tina is now the sole owner of That's Greek to Me and continues to expand the store's offering.
